Gauteng is not an easy province to install DSTV in. Highveld thunderstorms dump rain hard enough in October through March that a dish aligned to anything less than 90% signal quality will pixelate the moment the clouds move in. Most of the homes we work in are face-brick or plastered double-skin walls that eat masonry bits, and the majority of the middle-class suburbs we cover sit behind estate booms where every technician needs prior clearance and a proper ID before the gate even opens. That is why we only send MultiChoice-accredited installers — the training, the tools, and the paperwork matter more here than in almost any other South African market.

A typical same-day install looks like this. You phone before 3pm, we take a five-minute brief on decoder type, wall construction, and preferred cable run, and a technician is at your gate within two to four hours. The install itself — standard single-view HD with a wall-through cable — runs 60 to 90 minutes. We align the dish to 90%+ (not the 70% the DIY kits accept), tidy the cable in white or black clipped trunking, test every channel package, and hand over the remote with a one-page written warranty. If you bought the decoder yourself, we fit it; if you need one, we carry HD and Explora stock in the van. Payment on completion, card or EFT.

The 28-suburb footprint is run from two depots. The Johannesburg depot in Edenvale covers Sandton, Fourways, Randburg, Bedfordview, Kempton Park, the East Rand belt and the inner northern suburbs. The Centurion depot covers Pretoria East, Centurion itself, Moreleta Park, Silver Lakes, Garsfontein and the Pretoria corridor.
